Aizatron Bridges Gender Gap

Aizatron employs the best people for the job. After going through a rigorous process of interviews and testing, we then employ the best people into our organisation. We do not follow any targets with respect to gender equality. This means that every woman working at Aizatron is solely on merit and not in her position to make up any targets.

So, it is very interesting to see how we are performing.

Aizatron’s total female employment is currently 35% which is way above the 30% of women globally pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This shows us that women are performing better at our interviews and that they are prone to excelling in the STEM environment.

What is even more interesting at Aizatron is that women account for 50% of the Management structure as well as 50% at an Executive level. This was not by design, but through normal growth and skills of the individuals. This indicates that women perform very well in STEM companies like Aizatron if they are empowered and sexist barriers are removed from the organisation.

Based on our experience, more women need to take up careers in STEM subjects and their families and friends should encourage them. It is clear from our experience at Aizatron, that women perform as well as their male counterparts and there is no reason why they should not pursue STEM-based careers.
